I Put an AVI file on my SIGMA 4GB Nano 3rd Gen. It Recognized it but then when i press Select. the Screeen goes black and gOES BACK TO MENU.

Hi, I Have a Sigma Ipod Nano 3rd Generation 4GB. I want to Know what to do because, It doesnt play My AVI Files. The Instruction Manual says to put the Videos in AMV Format. But it dont pick it up...
