there is now way a firmware of a player will be destroyed by formating with windows..perform full format..not quick..it may solve the prob

no need to do the "tweezers" method if ur player r working fine..as explained by lattesurf it is used as dead recovery method..
Windows will detect most players as storage(like USB...

i'm not very sure bout this...maybe the firmware of the player(i mean for the mp4) is corrupted..but the MASS STORAGE(USB) driver is still okay..

your player is just bricked because u flashed it with incompatible firmware ..there is no way the processor is damaged...by flashing the player...do u still remember the previous...

the latest firmware extraction tools does not support firmware with 9.0.48 and above..there is no proper tool to extract the firmware...the tool is still in development..i do recoomend...
