as you see there is a dark spot on the display, it appeared like 2 months...

dead display problem

hi ppl
my mp4 's display is dead, it lights up but doesnt show the start up logo, menues, songs, etc.
otherwise it works properly.
any help? TIA

confirmed: yes, i have some files that displays the name fine and they have both id3v1 + id3v2, so there must be something else screwing around

i removed id3v2 tag and it worked, at least in one file
but if i recall right i believe i have seen correctly displayed songs in mp3 with id3v2... no...

admin,
i have tried plugging into my other usb port and in another 2 computers: no go.

the player shows that it is connected, but the computer wouldn't detect it, otherwise than that it works...

hello

i apologize if this topic has been adressed already.

well, my pc doesn't detect my mp4 player and all i think that could be the cause was a previous bad unplug, i mean, i didn't ejected...
