If I use the FORMAT command in my mp4's menu, does it totally erase everything, or just the files? Because I don't want to accidently delete the firmware.

trying to use flv2avi to convert my music vids. Did try viDrop but it doesn't like my computer (win98se on a p4 @ 2.6...
