Hi ludovic, the big problem is that assembler language isn't portable. As the rk26xx uses an 8051+dsp combo ucos/freertos may be an alternative.

Maybe the battery is dead. When you plug in a USB cable it gets powered by 5V usb voltage. I would open up the player and measure the voltage on the battery.

The device must be in "camera mode" in order for FrmTools to work. This can normally be achieved by holding down some key while turning the device on. Maybe you need to install an additional driver....

Its unlikely thats this player uses an rk27 chip since it only supports AVI files, rk27 players are normally advertised as RMVB, ... players. The 536 in the model name lets me think of the spca536...
