wlazio2000 when i updated the new firmware it was in adfu mode ,yes. after fw update it then recognised it as external disk. amnman it is 4.07 not 4.70 ...

:) hi, this is a partial succes story ,i had a totally dead mp4 from ebay,china,(upgraded it with wrong firmware and never made a backup),anyway i have the new atjxxx chip so its been a problem...
