Problem solved. I was using a newer version of MP3 Player Utilities (4.something). I got rid of that version and instead installed version 3.68. Now the whole movie will play!

So far as I can tell, there are no settings on the player itself that I can tweak... now I'm playing around with the AMV converter program to see if I can get a resolution which works with my player....

"Demo mode"?
Hi there,
I have this Nano clone (http://www.mympxplayer.org/chipod-2-asp391.html). I checked when I received it, it is a legitimate 2 Gbs. Firmware is 9.0.50.
I converted an AVI video to AMV...
