there is a propgram called "disk tools"....it should be on the cd that came with your chi-pod, but if it isn't there, you can download it from the files section of this site.
the program is used...

Nevermind....I fixed the problem, and made a new one for myself :D
I opened up the chi-pod, and removed the circuit board from the case and I found some dodgy soldering work where the battery...

Like the title suggests, I have a 4gb nano clone with a problem...it constantly restarts. As soon as I took it out of the box and turned it on, the problem started. It goes through to the menu...

i used to use 128, 192 & 256 kbps mp3's, but found that i still get the same quality with 64kbps (crappy chi-pod earphones) as i did with larger kbps sizes. haven't tried ogg yet, but my chi-pod...

Hi...I went googling for a firmware for your mp-735c, and came across a thread on s1mp3.org, and one person had succes using this fw HERE (http://ygsm.gnway.net/ygsm/k05.zip) to revive their dead mp4...

If you can't get glass cut, try using clear acylic or perspex....at a stretch, i guess you could cut a section out from a cd case, but glass would be the prefered thing to use...less chance of...

i've found quite a few chinese manufacturers that sell PMP's based on the sunplus spca536 chipset....I'll see if I can find one that offers software/firmware downloads

but there is software out there that will allow you to reconfigure your button setup. i'm not saying that it is easy to do by any stretch of the imagination, but i'm going to try since i have nothing...

I would suggest making a backup of your FW before attempting to do what you're suggesting. While I don't think it's impossible to do, I do think it is very unlikely that you'll be able to do it....

you're not wrong....even knowing the board id, screen number & battery types still won't help you in finding the EXACT firmware you need, but that info does help us help you :D

What is your board id number ? if it's MP-693C-SL MAIN V1.3 2005.12.14 i might have a FW that can help you....it fixed my chi-pod, although i lost some of it's features (games, ebook, tel book).
