No, this has always happened even before I reformatted it. Which is why I reformatted it. I've never tried loading music files. Except one or two and didn't have problems with the mp3's I put on....

No, I don't think so. This is one of the Generics with 2.8 inch screen. Just has a card slot for more room. That's all the info I could get from it. Here's a picture of it.
