Your screen must of been a defect...You can pickup a M6 for $79 4gb , your rockchip i presume was only 1gb .
The M6 is far superior to rockchip players in processing power. And also the M6SL Razor...

You should format the player from your computer...

You should format the player from your computer using fat 32 , do a full format preferably (Not a quick format) and then re-copy the video from your pc to the player.

You have to remeber the M6 has a lower resoloution on a smaller space so the image would be smaller than that...

there are ways of compressing way more than 8-10 movies @ high quality , You just gotta know how , You can get 8-10 movies in 800 meg let alone 4 gig @ dvd quality , But you gotta know how to do it...
