MP3 Update Tool is not the problem. I use to fixing mp3 player and I can say: MP3 Update Tool IS NOT THE PROBLEM! PROBLEM is people trying to "upgrade" firmware. 99% of problems are wrong flashing.

To have more than 2gb, its necessary to use fat32. Most devices have support to fat, dont fat32. So, to format more than 2 gb, its necessary to do it using fat32. So, you are right.

Sometimes, using firmwaremodify, you have to choose another language, instead of english to get english at reboot! That happened with me.

So, try to use another language if "english" doesnt solve...

If manufacturer plans to use more than 2gB flash memory, its cheaper to use a mini hd. Thats the reason because they are selling mp4 players with hd instead of flash memory.
