:( It's dead now, there's no battery left anymore. I tried to force it to hold by putting 3 strips of double sided foam tape over the usb port, with the back crushing the foam and usb port together....

edit: False Alarm.... The player didn't turn on or off for awhile (1-5mins) but I then went out to get screwdrivers and after unscrewing the 2nd screw the player...
