The ipod battery size is aprox:

width:24mm
length:40mm

I could not find the depth of the ipod battery but i'd imagine it would be the more or less the same thickness....

I am puchasing my first i-platinum from Uxcell which seems to be highly recomened here.

One comment I have noticed on the forums is battery life, I was wondering if a ipod nano battery will fit...
