Hi
Does anyone know of a firmware extractor for Rockchip players or have a copy of 00.00.0002 that I can have a play about with?

260K is better than most mobile phones and probably about the best you're going to get from an MPx player. I haven't got any pics of mine but it's pretty good for a 2.4" screen and certainly adequate...

I haven't got any pictures but on a screen that small 260k colour should be more than good enough, videos look great on my 2.4" player.

OK, OK I think I've got it sussed. I had to enable full stream audio processing in virtualdub to get it to sync the audio when it converted it to 24fps. I have no idea whether this is what made the...

I have uploaded the video that came with my player to my blog which is at www.compublog.co.uk/defaultvideo.avi
I am fairly sure that this one is in sync but its not english so I really can't tell...

One addition, when i skip to a different part of the video the audio is fine again for about 2 seconds, at which point the audio begins to "drift" away from the video again. Is there any way to tell...

Thanks for the reply but encoding at 16FPS seems to make a the problem worse lol, leading me to believe that its not "dropping" audio as it does the video frames.
