does the fact that the laptop has windows 7 mean anything? The PC I sync to has windows XP but the one with mp3 utilities (my laptop) has windows 7

I had problems with corrupted mp3s so I formatted...

I had problems with corrupted mp3s so I formatted the player. i got the disk error. I ran a quick format again and now it works but some mp3s are still corrupted. I never messed with the firmware...

the firmware page reads:

I'm pretty sure it's memory hacked. I am unable to remove...
