Can you say, is your player detected after connecting to pc, w/out shorting i/o pins. If it goes to ADFU mode, you need to check if this pins are not connected together. I had same problem then...

Yes and ther is the problem because we need firmware in ehich the screen will work. I don't have the f/w for my player (yet) but i think that i can work on firmware to "detect" my screen for now...

even if the battery disconnected you can work on usb connected :D Battery is not needed. Using the second firmware you can use your firmware normally, but screen wony work ;/ i am working on it and...

Well, i am sure that i have the same one player, but extracting firmware is smallest problem. Is your player completly dead? is the light on? Well if it is off you need to try to flash it with merged...
