thanks, this this way of muxing subtitles into video I presumed, though I've not used vidrop yet.
may be other chips support or plan to support specifically overimposing text files onto video?

I know there's lyrics (lrc) support for audio, but i've never heared that subtitles for video are supported. For Divx or Xvid movies subtitles are usually in an *.srt or *.sub file. Of course...
