Got the same ebook reader (according to the look and descriptions, butu i havent opened yet) and the same problem, but i wasnt changing the firmware, it just went blank while reading...

Hi guys
I just received my chinese ebook reader yesterday and was working OK with the sample files.
I put some pdf's on it and some jpg files and was going to use it today but for some reason...
