what program are you using to flash your player? I have one just like it with the rk2608a chip, but no program I've tried is able to find the player, although windows sees it as a removable drive.

most of these players have graphic equalizers (presets) and some have user levels, have you checked them? Some of them do sound like an echo on certain types of mysic, especially the 3d EQ preset.

Small problem. The numbers off the flash chip don't start with K9. It is a samsung chip, but is a K4 (according to samsung, classified as sdram)

I've tried both amvconverter 4.0 and 4.07. I've modified the disksize as shown on another thread for the 4.0, and it disksize entry was already in the 4.07 ini, but I continue to get the "disk full"...
