ah that explains it - I had tried an ipod nano case in a shop & it didn't seem to fit but I had noticed those listings you've mentioned which include a nano case and I wondered why... Many thanks...

well as my husband now wants one maybe I'll buy him one from ebay and keep the case...

thanks for that - I have some on order from Hong Kong via eBay. My husband broke the last set I bought in trying to feed the cord through the rather tiny hook on the player! I shall keep searching...

I have a nano clone type of player but I don't think a nano player case would fit as the buttons etc would be in the wrong place BUT any sort of case to protect the screen whilst in my bag would be...
