ok followed the guide on here ,shorted the chip ,upgraded(or down graded) the firmware and blimey its as good as new thanks for pointing me in the right direction ,i will be telling my mates about...

oh and when i connect it to my pc`s it doesn`t show up as anything ,no drive f etc etc ...ive tried removing the battery ,even replacing it with a nokia phone battery ...nothing ,just the hourglass...

my glacier 1gb version has been fine up until i left it for two days ,then when i switched it on it just froze on the hourglass screen ,i read somewhere here that theres a guy who can help ? well can...
