I was finally asked by uexell to post back the MP4 player, which I did.
However, weeks later they say they still have not received it, and my girlfriend did not send it with a tracking number, so...

Well they sent me 4 different firmware versions to try and none of them worked, so I'm now sending it back.
Hopefully all is good with the replacement.

Yeah I figured something might be wrong with the memory, seeing as we had issues putting any more than about 25 songs on initially, even though the unit was showing 2GB capcity.

Unfortunately, it didnt work.
Even when I go to the mem settings on the device itself, it shows 228mb :(
