Unfortunately, it doesn't. Before every time i plugged it in it used to say connect on the screen and started charging. This is the first time something's gone wrong. Thank you for ur help, i greatly...

My MP4 is small, thin and metallic blue. It only says MP4 Digital Player on it.
It doesn't have a brand. Normally i would plug the USB cable into the computer and it will say connect on the mp4...
