I have the same problem.
My PC is window XP, I don't have win98. So, It means that I can not recover my MP4. It's dead? Anybody can help me?

3rd Nano Clone Hour Glass Problem
I find the problem when I upgrade my MP4 (3rd Nano Clone) with the original firmware that I backup. The hour glass show on the screen and computer can not detect the device. Pls help!!!
