Have you tried the Howto HERE (http://www.mympxplayer.org/how-to-removing-memory-hack-vt2400.html)

I followed it through twice just to make sure then formatted my player as FAT32...

I've had a play, and managed to get up to 12 albums in a folder now, I don't know how stable this will be, but I'll monitor it!
