I've tried lots of 9.0.xx firmwares, which is what my pen-drive size, b/w screen mp3 player needs, but they're for the chipod nano's.

thanks for your fast replies, Lattesurf. i meant that the firmware downloads available in the Actions 9xx section appear to be mostly for the ipod nano replicas and that i imagine they're not...

is there a newer version of S1fwx that i could use? i think i've checked every possible S1 website. i can borrow someone's player that still works and uses similar firmware.
