Hi @Kuronami: I'm happy for you that you managed to re-activate your player.
I'm also interested to know which firmware did the trick, as specially if it is the one I slightly altered.

I have uploaded some more firmware files, wait for a couple hours before they will appear in the download section.

Just an extra note from me:
I think that the Fake Chinese ipod MP3/MP4 players can be re-activated without needing them to shorten the chips inside.
It just depends on the right firmware you...

I have imported a lot of fake ipod nano MP4 players and had to format a lot of them because the buyers where not reading the manual. They just disconnect their player without closing...
