I think you have to find a firmware that work with your display! I was able to hear music with dead display too, the problem is the firmware not compiled for your type of display!

Have you tried...

Look for someone that buyed a player from this seller, from his feedback list, and try to contact it. If that seller sell always the same...

At 99% you will kill your player.
I think you need to have the exactly hardware, not only main processor and memory.
If your player is dead, you can make a try, maybe you are lucky!

Hello to everybody.
I'm trying to find the right firmware for my Mp3/Mp4 player, a black Nano clone. I was able to make it readable by my pc as a usb disk, but the display is still white.
