Well done - need your help now.

Did a dump.bin and changed a few images. When I reloaded, all screens are in Chinese, lost English language.

Can you tell me how many key presses etc. to get to...

Then download the MP3 utility from the Download section as that what I used as well

OK, managed to format mine

Use the HP utility downloadable from elsewhere in the forum
Then format with the MP3 Player Utilities

worked for me, cleared everythig out.

Weird one. Copied 4 GB of music and data files...

Weird one. Copied 4 GB of music and data files across and the data files were all corrupted, so suspected a hacked 4GB drive. Formatted in XP Disk Management, formatted as 4GB FAT. Suspected trick...

If it is still showing as Encrypted, thats probably why its not working

I cant get to my player as I am currently loading 4GB of files to it to check if it is a hacked version or not, 50 minutes...

Had same problem,

Manual is useless.

Solution - go to Setup
Scroll down to Setting below "Replay Mode"
It is probably showing Encrypted Only
Click on it "M" key
Change to Normal Only
