I checked with my son and he has not tried any video files on the player.
It is still working fine.

Disk error is gone completely, but my son has not...

Disk error is gone completely, but my son has not used video files on it yet.

I recieved an email back from the vendor this...

I recieved an email back from the vendor this evening suggesting that I format the player ( I had contemplated doing this originally but figured I should wait until I heard back ).
