I played mp3's at max volume(31) on...

I played mp3's at max volume(31) on headphones(rca type) and the battery lasted 4 1/2 hours with backlight OFF....in 5 seconds setting. Almost made it till lunch 8o)

this is a brand new player...

Ok i formatted the beastie and all is well so far i am putting the 3 gig worth of stuff back onto it now...looks to be a true 4 GB (formatted to 3.82 GB)

Just as the topic line says.....I just recieved my 4 gigabyte chIpod mp4....It is the 1.5 inch version with standard headphone jack ,It came in a black box with red graphics and magnetic...
