You are saying you formatted it and it fully works ? i formatted it as well few times but there is no way to make use of more than 4 GB . Mine was $24 but its probably the same . anyway its not...

It seems to have around 4GB of real memory , the rest of memory is useless as you cannot even retrieve files , neither does it play music,video or show pics if its more than 4GB .
