Yes, I've converted wmv files to amv and...
Yes, I've converted wmv files to amv and transfered them to the player and watched them without problems. I suppose the MP4 file could be corrupt but it plays ok in the amv viewer!!??

I have lost my USB cable for my 2Gb MP4 player
It's one of those slim black ipod look alikes.
The USB connector was the standard A type (goes into computer)...
