Default Piranha Navigator Changing/Upgrading Flash (Nand) Memory..

hi all..

(at first sorry if i open the thread at wrong section)

i just wanna change\upgrade (1 gb to 4gb) my old mp3 player's nand flash ic. it has 1 gb memory.. and i tried to change it with my fake kingston data traveler 300 nand flash ic but not invalid firmware attention..can i reprogram it before flashing or what..?

is it possible..?
