Hi everyone. I found that if you use Window Media Player 9, you can creat a playlist and then creat a folder, after that you syns to MP3/MP4 Player. It will play this playlist for you.
But in WMP 10 or later, I can't use this function to creat a playlist.

ur player plays a playlist file?

I haven't tried it yet, but there is a playlist function in MP3 player utilities 4.09 Media Manager. If you use that to load your music, it copies the files into folders exactly as iTunes or Media Player would, that is artist--album--song. When I first loaded it, it also created folders in my mpx player as Music, Record and Playlist. So, I am drawing an assumption (yeah, I know) that the playlist function works the same as the other programs does.

Having said all that, I still haven't tried it as I have having other issues with this damned thing. But I will be trying it hopefully soon.

hey ppl,
as far as i know the mp3/4 player will play the song exactly in the order the files were copied from the computer in first place. the thing is the computer doesn't necessarily copy the files in an orderly fashion (like you see in windows, for instance), but in the order they are stored physically in the hard drive.
soooo, my solution is to put an order number in front of the filename, copy then to the mp4 device and use a little app called foldersort (i think it is freeware, just google...) which orders physically the files in the device.

cheers
