Hi M$,

"Turn off the backlight" you mean make it so the screen goes 'black' after a certain time when you are playing mp3's? Similar to like black screensaver type?

You can try the following:
1. Go into your "Setup" menu.
2. Choose "LCD Set".
3. Then go to the "Black" section.
4. Change that from "zero" to whatever seconds you want it to wait until the LCD screen switches to black.

Remember that it might be alittle different on your player. However, I've seen a few different Mpx players in my time, and the menu items are generally in the same place. Otherwise look for something that saids "black" within your setup menu.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,
Binh
