[solved] how to display lyrics
 

I have a iPOD-alike Freedata Tech. MP4 player, model FD1205P3 1GB. The specs say it can display lyrics along with a song. It comes with two songs and lyrics files (.lrc) for these songs. When played, it shows a "T" icon showing that the text file is present but it does not display anything. I also edited lyrics of another song myself, using LRC Editor, same result. The manual shows completely different display/icons and the only place it mentions the lyrics display says that if it does not, one has to enter "Lyrics" submenu which ... does not exist :(

Any help would be appereciated.

Hi Michal,

To display lyrics on your player, play the song where it shows the "T", then press and hold down on the Menu/Mode button. This should then display the lyrics for you.

Thanks a lot, it works. Also, I must admit I misunderstood the manual. They use "Press on Menu" meaning a long press on the button, not just press on the button :)
