Hi tboogie,

It looks like your player is NOT an s1mp3 player.
Can you upload a photo of your player to our site so we can see what your player looks like?

I know I have a MPx player which uses the Sigmatel solution board. This ISN'T picked up by the s1fwx.exe tool. Even though it shows up in Windows Explorer as a drive letter and I can transfer files to it. The s1fwx.exe tool just does NOT pick it up.

Maybe in the future the s1fwx.exe tool might pick it up, but right now, it doesn't, and everything if else works fine on your player, then it's just the board and solution used on your player that the s1fwx.exe tool can't pick up.

Correct me anyone if I am wrong. I know for a fact that I have a sigmatel solution player which doesn't get picked up by the s1fwx.exe tool.

There is a tool I will be uploading soon that will be able to pick up Sigmatel boards.

It will appear in the [Downloads] --> [Tools] section shortly.

No, I don't create them. I wish I could, but no programming skills from my end . Some are available from the internet while others, I get from MPx manufacturers in China.

That's good to hear that you can program. I wonder if we should create a post and getting together a list of things people would like to see done easier and a program that can do it??? I know once we required a program that will automatically resize images on preset heigh x width specifically for the MPx players. But I think there's already a program out there already for it......

I've been looking for the program which backs up my Sigmatel MPx firmware, but all my effort has been unsuccessful. I can't find anywhere this software.
Let's find this software, I can't believe this does not exist.
Help me out!!!

I found something that might help us with SigmaTel Boards.
firmware_version_1.0.zip
It could be a light to lighten our dark path in search of programs that update the firmware of SigmaTel Boards.
But this zip has a big problem, it needs a password to unzip! I don't have idea of which is that password :x :x
