i think i may have an idea as to why the files are getting corruptted...there could be some problem with the memory...perform this simple test if possible...

i believe you must've had some sort of arrangement of songs (maybe in folders or just like that) which was causing the corruption. now try putting these files and the exact same order onto another player of the same memory...
if the songs in the new player work and there is no corruption then that means there is something wrong with the flash memory of your old player...get it checked or replace it for a new one...

worked for me :) , but i'm still tryin to figure out if there are any other causes...

when you plug your player through the usb a drive appears on 'My Computer'. right click and go to properties, then go to 'hardware' and click on 'properties'. click on policies. There'll be an option to 'enable write caching on the disc'. Untick it...temme if this works
