Flash disk size reduced after formatting

Hi ,
I have bought a 1.5 inch coloured screen MP4 Player with 512 MB of Memory . I got an error message during an upload and after that i have formatted the disk .But After formatting the size of the disk is shown as 256 MB and not 512 Mb
how can i restore the original size .can any body please help me .

Have you tried formatting your player with the "MP3 Player Disk Tool" from the AMV Convert Tool 3.68 (MP3 Player Utilities 3.68)?

What you can also do is format the player from Windows using the "Disk Management" tool within Windows.
