Updated firmware, mp4 doesn't start and the screen is black

sorry I don't speak english but I'll try
I've intalled "visual land" firmwire on My Mp4 /512mb and I follow the instructions to can install this program on my MP4
after that my mp4 don't starts again... the screen turn black and I can't extract (uninstall) the firwire or change it because say "it's writen protected"

I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!

Jose,

Please dont install firmware or update your player with firmware which is not suitable for your player. The result is usually a 'dead' player and you will have problems with it turning on.

It will tell you how to recover your player so it's working again.

ALWAYS backup your firmware before upgrading it. I hope you did??

i recovered my player several times already.
ps. i'm never updating firmware again...

i got the files to get you going again...i dont know whether they'll work in all dead 1.5 inch mp4 players but it is worth a try.

I am trying to get together a 'recovery' guide from other people who have managed to recover their player from a 'dead' state.

Can you help by writing some steps?

Can you also upload your firmware with a description to the site pelase? That would be great.
