What tool did you use to format your 4GB player to FAT16?

I had the same problem yesterday with the same sizes.

Before, I used a standard format with explorer, and I hadn't problem.

I tried to use the format with the software MP3 Player disk tool, to have a security partition of 128Mb, and to keep my partition 4Go.

Before I had 2 partitions 4Go and 128Mb

But after the format with this utility, the first partition has deleted, and just the second has formated.

I think that utility is the cause of our problem ...
How can we do to open this partition ???

Thanks

Try the utility again but this time, change the partition sizing to zero so you only have one partition instead. Also make sure you don't put any encryption during the format with the format tool as well.
