Have you tried the MP3 Player Disk Tool that's included when you install the AMV Convert Tool? Try formatting your player with "low" using that tool and see what happens.

"Bad sectors" are pretty bad and not sure if it's recoverable. I know on a computer, it marks it as "bad" and doesn't use that sector.

Sir,

I tried to do that but it says Rdisk utility error when i try to format it then i opened problem topic for the same on the stie
myMPxPlayer.com Forum Index » myMPXplayer.com Forum » Support and How To » Problem formatting

Pease let me know if we havea tool which is going to recover the bad sectors because after i format it with windows i will be able to load the complete capacity songs but after 20 or 25 songs its getting struck and restarting, i think its because that specific area on the drive is corrupted and not readable so that stopping to proceed futher and play other songs whhich are loaded after that area

Plz help

sidhu,

How do you know it has bad sectors?
Have you tried right clicking/properties/ tools/ error check ?
Be sure to check both boxes.
Then try low level format as as Binh suggested.
or try this to format:

As always..... " please post your results / successes' or none of us will learn anything"......
