Iridium,

So when you try pressing the [Vol+] or [Vol-] buttons, anything happen? You might have to try pressing all the buttons until you get it to change the time.

To KEEP your clock settings, you have NOT use the [on/off] to turn it off. You have to press and hold down on the [play/pause] button to turn it off. If you use the [on/off] switch on your player to turn it off, it will wipe your settings off.

I had also problem with it, but i figured out how to accept them:
1. Set settings.
2. Press Vol+ or Vol- until that blue box(that box which marks what you are editing) dissapears...
3. ...and THEN press MODE/accept button.
In my case it worked, clock functions normally.

AMP 18, you can't put games on mpx because they are connected with your firmware(some firmwares have more, some have less games).

Thanks for the replies DJB, and Binh,

No, when I am in clock function vol. function is not available. Just FF, RWD, Menu and REC. buttons. None have any effect except REC, which either locks, or unlocks this function. After unlocking, no keys have any effect. The incredibly unhelpful manual is written in horriffic CHINGLISH, and I can't make heads or tails of it.
I'll keep playing w/ it tho, and will post success if I get lucky.

Here's how I set up the clock (although don't see much importance in this function..anyone know?)

At the SYS Setup screen
Press 'M' once to highlight 'Clock'
Press 'M' again to access clock set up
double-click on middle button to move between boxes
use left and right buttons to set up numbers
When done press 'M' again to exit.

Shirley

Setting a clock is important for some players as without a time, it won't take into account, the sleep, and power off settings you set in your player.

However, it has a flaw in that if you use the [on/off] switch to turn off your player, you will LOOSE all your clock settings. So if you want to keep it, just press and hold down on the [play/pause] button to turn on and off your player instead.
