eXeCuTe,
1st.
What is the purpose of changing your firmware ?
2nd
There is no way to know for sure the correct firmware until you disassemble unit and report the board id number. Players may look the same (same button configuration, etc.) and have completely different FW inside because the pc board inside is different.

ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FW... 1ST!

Also, the CD that came w/ unit may have correct FW on it. Look for.bin file.
If you simply want to change background pics, follow the guides on this site for fw mods (themes).

I want to have games..

I already opened my MP3 player, when he was dead, I switched it to recover mode..
Where can I see the board id?

And yes, I have disc with the firmware that came with the player.

and BTW, how long should it take to charge it? it was charging all night and it's still charging...
and all my video files that were on the player deleted from some reason :|

Having the games feature might be full compatible with your player.

What does the startup/end and menu main images look like?
I have a player similar to yours with the same casing, but can't say it uses the same board as your player though.

This is the firmware here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...ile&file_id=47.

It doesn't have games on it though.

Flashing your player with an incompatible firmware will result in a 'dead' player (as you know already). If you are prepared to keep fixing your dead player and recover it then have a look through the firmware section and read the notes to see if they have games mentioned.

I don't think it's a good idea to keep fixing it every time..

I have the filenames of the firmware that came with the player and firmware I downloaded from some site that works, will it help?
The firmware i downloaded named 157TFT_F_NC_ITOP_S1.19(Hebrew 20 Feb).fw
And the firmware that came with the player named 157TFT_F_NC_G_S1.06_060210.fw

Where can I see the board id? I'll just open it again

And about the startup/end/menu images, I dont know how to describe it, I dont know the words in english.. I'll check it.

From another site....." An important thing about the player is the Board ID code. This is the only trustworthy identification of the device.

The code is written in white on the green board. It's located usually behind a plastic sticker, near the minus battery pole. If you need help to open the player, see a tutorial here: Dissassemble the s1mp3.

If you are having problems to find your board ID, it may be behind the LCD cable. You might have to lift it carefully to see the bard ID. Seek everywhere! Both sides of all the boards! Some people take a bit of time to find the small white words. We qualify anything printed in white on the green printboard as the board ID.

Example :

MP-482C MAIN V8 " ........

I don't know if Admin will like this or not so Binh please let me know, but here is a link for many different types of FW. BE CAREFUL. See if your board # corresponds to any listed here:

http://www.s1mp3.org/en/downloads_fw...083534e10ff02d

If your board was never intended to support games, I doubt you will gain that feature w/ different FW, probably just a dead player. But good luck...
