MP3 player won't F/W update? (or repair)

Ok, I've got abit of a weired problem, it's either wires tools don't support my firmware or I have a MP3 player that refuses to update.

Just so I don't repeat myself, could you look at this post at: http://forum.s1mp3.org/viewtopic.php?t=2843

It just refuses to repair and mp3 player tools refuses to work with the firmware too.
What am I doing wrong?

Download the UDisk Checker from here.

It will tell you what type of Disk your player is (make sure you have your player plugged in before using the tool).

Reading from the post replies on s1mp3.org someone suggested you might have a Sigmatel board, which the Upgrade Tool won't work for. It will only work for ACTIONS boards.

Can you give me more information about your player?

If you use the s1fwx tool, can you extract the firmware from it?
