music listing ?

Hi ,

Got one of those standard nano 1.5 inch lookalike thingies ... 2 gigs ...

something I don't quite get ... if I choose "music" ( spinning cd-icon ) , I get a nice flower with the name under of the first track ..I can ( very slowly) go throughall the songs pushing left or right ... but HOW can I get a kind of windows explorer ? If I go to ' local folder ' I get a moving backslash but NO tracknames ...In PICTURE I DO get a nice listing when I open it up ...in MOVIES same deal, NO listing ... if I select DELETE, THEN I get a list ...

Can Someone please help out ?

Hello Guy,

On my system when you go into folder view you can only view folders not individual tracks. Try placing the mp3 files into folders for each artist or music type then scroll to folder you want to play in folder view. When you select the folder you want pushing the play button will open that folder in the play menu. Then you can scroll through tracks.
For this to work properly be sure to set repeat to normal.

Okay, thanks tadad1 ...

guess it is normal then ... saw other posts asking the same thing ...

It is a pain in the butt that, in play menu ( with the standard flower and the track name at the bottom of the screen ) it takes 2 secs to skipp from track to track ...

Is there a way to speed this up ...? I like it so far but the browsing functions of this mp4 player are not the best ...

Would'nt it be great if someone would come up with a mod or firmware update sothat, when you browse through the songs in play mode , the track titles come up WITHOUT the player startinf the songs ?

That would certainly makes things nicer ...?

Who will be the first to try ? ...

BTW : ACT_V3.5.37 seems to be out now ....

Scrolling individual tracks would be great and removing the fade when scrolling tracks would improve speed.
