Default Song titles

Heres one for you,

I have 70 odd mp3s in a directory labelled Music

they play fine EXCEPT on some of them i get weird characters come up on the display.

I have transferred one onto the computer and the artist and song title display fine in winamp and windows media player. There is nothing unusual in the ID3 tags

Any ideas?

If you can upload it to:
Downloads -> Samples -> Uploads by Members

- that would be great thanks.

Fizzle05, I downloaded your song and opened it MP3 Tag editor and deleted the comments and saved and it is fine now.

fizzle05

Figured out what your problem is.

Remove the ID3v2 Tag from the mp3 song using WinAMP and it should now show it properly.

Looks like mpx player's don't like the ID3v2 Tag.
