Thanx Iridium...and thanx to tadad1...i installed the codec pack that tadad1 told me about..and unistalled and reinstalled the converter and it works..although its converting slow..its still converting...I think you have to install the codec in order for the converters to work. Thanx

Yes, with no codec install, the .MTV converter doesn't know how to 'decode' your .avi file.
