jylyj,

Generally, you have to long press (3-4 secs) the menu key to access the different functions.....

jylyj, As Iridium has explained if you hold down the M or Menu button for 3-4 seconds will take you to the main menu where you can scroll through the different functions. A short press of the Menu button will access the function.

When in a function area (music pictures etc.) a short press of the Menu button will access folder navigation etc. where you can scroll to the folder you want and press the play button will access the folder of your choice.

Example: if you are in the music function a short press of the menu button will take you to folder view, scroll to folder you wish and push the play button will take you back to the music function, press play again will play the folder you selected.

If you are playing music a short press of the menu button will access the music options like equalizer, Tempo etc. Pressing play will accept a setting.

In folder view you can not select individual music tracks only folders. You can only scroll individual tracks within the music function.

Hope this helps.

Terry

jyl, On my player if i am within the music or video playing function and press the menu or M button once briefly it takes me to a menu where the first entry is Local Folder, press the menu button again then gives me a list of folders on my player.I then scroll to the one I want and press play which will take me out of folder view, press play again will play the folder I selected.

I organized my player as follows,
5 folders (Music, Movies, Text, Pictures, Recording) in the player. If I want to put a moive or selection of mp3's on the player I creat a new folder in one of the above folders and place them in there.

This seems to work well on my player but you may need to store things differently.

Hope this helps

jyl, this is clearly not the same system as my player uses I suggest you post a picture of your player in the gallery along with it's details. Then place a link to the information in this post that way someone who has the same player as you may be able to offer you more help.
